About Power Unlimited
Power Unlimited is a small ensemble out of Campus Choir from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Consisting of eight vocalists and six instrumentalists, Power Unlimited sing their songs of praise with both passion and skill. This group of young people not only leads the congregation in praises to the most high God - they worship the Lord with heart, soul, mind, and strength! Voices and instruments combine for a single purpose - to make His praise glorious! Whether singing a traditional hymn, a gospel song, or the newest praise and worship chorus, it’s all about worshiping the Lord.
Campus Choir, existing since 1957, has touched the world through music ministry. Power Unlimited formed in 1990 to reach nations that were impossible for the Choir to reach because of size and costs. In May and June of 1990, they became the first Christian music group to travel to the Eastern Block nations after the wall came down. Music and missions is the heartbeat of Power Unlimited. They have recorded three albums of Praise and Worship choruses as well as their signature album POWER UNLIMITED. A more recent recording from Power Unlimited is Through the Fire.
They have sung and ministered throughout the United States and in many countries around the world, singing in churches, youth meetings, schools, and conventions of regional, national, and international scope. They have been featured guests at Winterfests in Gatlinburg, TN, Arlington, TX, Ocean City, MD, Cincinnati, OH, and Orlando, FL as well as featured guests on the TBN Network on the Praise the Lord program, the Daystar Network, or the Inspiration Network (INSP).
In May of 1993, they traveled to Sofia, Bulgaria, where they presented a concert with the National Radio and Television Orchestra of Bulgaria with special guest, Phil Driscoll. Power Unlimited has had the opportunity to sing with other artists such as Ron Kenoly, Alvin Slaughter, Donnie McClurkin, Gary Oliver, Judy Jacobs, Michael English, Jeff Fenholt, and Dolly Parton. In May of 2001 they traveled with Campus Choir to Washington D.C. to set up a tent -- a tabernacle of David -- to sow a seed for revival in America in 24 hours of praise, worship, and intercessory prayer. In 2002 the choir sang at the great wells of revival in the British Isles, including the seat of the Welsh Revival, John Wesley's Chapel, and great revival sites of St. Patrick in Ireland.
During the summer months, Power Unlimited travels the United States singing in churches, youth camps, and camp meetings. A few summers ago, they traveled throughout the western states, including a visit to the site of the Azusa Street revival. Their prayer is that they will be vessels to bring "Times of Refreshing" to every place they visit.
